Hospitality is the design of service-oriented projects. Our extensive hospitality experience includes HOTELS, BARS, RESTAURANTS, AND ENTERTAINMENT VENUES. We understand the equal importance on operational needs and creating a wow factor. We are experienced in dealing with builders, architects, engineers and key consultants to deliver a well-considered outcome and engaging space.

Contemporary elegance


Mercure Hotel - Liverpool Catholic Club. Designed by renowned architect Brian Wood & the team Wood Day Architects. Design Code Interiors provided expertise to all interiors aspects of the hotel including lighting, furniture selections, colour and finishes palettes throughout and custom joinery design of the board room.

Outcome: New hotel rooms, public congregation spaces, function rooms and bars, new board room, paint and finishes specification and furniture selections.

Modern warmth


It was imperative to provide a modern sleek kitchen to make this home more functional. The clients needed a light bright dining space; a hub for the family to congregate and to entertain from. The powder room was a soft warm palette with 3D texture tile and the master ensuite had a more contemporary bright feel.

Outcome: New flooring, paint and lighting throughout, relocation of the kitchen to open the dining space and create a hub for family gatherings. Ensuite bathroom and powder room renovation. Furniture, fixtures and feature lighting selections and procurement.

Harmonious luxury


The brief was a complete redesign to suit our clients’ taste. We created an elegant yet modern home for this couple who love to entertain. The palette was developed with soft blues and neutral tones to reflect their style, and bring softness to reflect the beautiful harbour setting.

Outcome: New flooring, paint, custom automated window furnishings and lighting throughout. Living room and master bedroom, kitchen, laundry, powder room and 3 x ensuite renovations. Design and selections of all finishes, hardware, fittings and fixtures. New lighting and detailed custom joinery for the master bed, living, wine cabinet, kitchen and bathrooms. Selection and procurement of rugs and furniture.

Retro classic


The design brief of Kicks Bowling and Arcade was to create a new destination within the Club, activate social culture and create a place of family entertainment. The concept was based on a throwback to the original Kicks nightclub and was a retro vibe combining colours, pop-art in a modern way.

Outcome: Bowling lanes & various key attractions, arcades, bowling & bar servery counters, party rooms. All finishes specification, lighting and furniture selections.

Natural & flexible


Design Code Interiors was commissioned to integrate the Visitor Centre into the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre (SEC) bringing a fresh look and memorable experience for everyone who visits. The brief was to redesign the foyer space to enhance the user experience as the new Shoalhaven Information Centre. We created innovative custom joinery modules for the retail and brochure displays that could be boxed together and packed away on “theatre nights”. The space was to be flexible and reflect the natural feel of the Shoalhaven area.

Outcome: New foyer counter & Rear display case, Acoustic attenuation, ceiling feature, custom information desk and custom display roll away pods.

Social vibes


Attractivity was a 3000 square metre warehouse conversion into the largest indoor family entertainment venue within Australia. Hosting the state-of-the-art 3D theatre, Dodgem Cars, Bowling, a Rope Course, a Laser Maze, Laser Skirmish, an Arcade and Shooting Gallery. Food and Beverage was a big focus but certainly we wanted to create a sophisticated and vibrant venue for a new wave of social culture. Planning was key to getting the flow right to a ensure we achieved a dynamic yet pleasant hospitality venue of this scale.

Outcome: Bowling lanes & various key attractions, arcades, restaurant, bar, amenities and retail shop. All finishes specification, lighting and furniture selections

Grow & learn


The Noah’s Ark Early Learning Centre was a complete retro fit of an existing TAFE building. It accomplished current thinking in social and educational strategies enabling better teaching and quality of work, play and learning space for children and teachers.

Outcome: Custom reception counter and foyer space, custom classrooms, special needs room and office space. Lighting, ceiling features, paint flooring and furniture selections.

Country charm


The renovation of this original 1950’s weatherboard cottage was undertaken to bring this family home to life. The good bones were retained as we gave it a cosmetic modern face-lift for the family to enjoy.

Outcome:  Paint colours, flooring restoration, kitchen refresh, feature lighting, key furniture styling advice.

Crisp living


This home’s savvy client knew what she wanted but needed some advice to pull it all together. Design Code Interiors assisted in building a palette that was on trend yet timeless. We gave confidence to the client in selecting the right look and feel to create their ideal family home.
